Hi guys,

Wondering if you could help me with any ideas on the average monthly salary before tax for an IT proffesional in Hong Kong with a couple of years Financial IT experience?

I am thinking of moving to Hong Kong, and I am wondering how much the average is.

Someone posted a link to averages a while back. It was a reply to one of my posts about 12 months ago though I dont have the link.

Personally I found start up salaries in Tokyo much more attractive than HK. Though specialists are paid better here and its easier to live in for non-Japanese speakers.
