Hi all,
We have some friends visiting soon who have a child who is gluten intolerant. They have asked me if it is easy to get food in Hong Kong for their child. Unfortunately I don't know a lot about the condition and aside from looking in 360 and City Super I'm a bit stuck. I was wondering if any of you would have more of an idea.
Thanks.

anything that doesnt have wheat should be gluten free. so steamed rice, boiled corn, meat, bananass, eggs, potattoes, fish, veggies, are all ok. i think a rice based diet as that of HK should be great for gluten intolerance.
bread, buiscuits, pasta, pizza, ect are not ok unless labelled 'gluten free'.

Besides 360 and Citysuper, gluten free products can also be found easily at Great at the Admiralty and Oliver's at the Prince's Building. It's better to call these stores in advance to check.
