there s a new online shopping service provide Pay for me and delivery for me . and you can shop anything in / from US .

Since I shop online pretty often and they claim that to save on high international charges on any site.


I brought 2 items forms States just check with DHL and my parcel weight 8 LBS only . and they charged me total cost for USD 80 to ship over to H K and lucky that I got a USD $ 25 off for the first 600 customer so I pay USD 50 for my items which weight 8 LBS only .



the thingk is I m not sure if any Gov department can help me since I feel I ve been tricked by their excess bubbles wrapping which they charge Flat shipping USD 20 + USD 3.8 for every KG . and this is an online service not a shop in HK .


are there anything I can do ?

the charger is very tricky and they decide to charge me in volumetric which according to them is 10 KG which i receive my parcel which is weight 8 lbs only. they told me they will choose the which ever high weight to charge me !! who else can protect the right for me ? I m thinking to go to consumer council but this is an on line service .

The feature of their service is that customers can experience lower international shipping costs but in this case it is absolutely untrue! and I pay much more than If i just ship the items from the merchant

is the company based in hk? the consumer council would not be able to help if the online service is based elsewhere

that' the thing I don't thing the company is HK base .They don't have the company number for me to call. but I wrote to them yesterday still waiting for the reply .

is like set the customers up . like the big broadband company they will call u /send u a letter up and said that there are free trail for this and that for a month and U can't say no but can cancel it( which they won't mention it ). When they sell the promotion they won' t tell u u have to cancel the free trail service after a month otherwise they will keep charging me .which happen to me 3 yrs ago and they said all the term are on the internet . so what can I say ? I never instruct them to offer me the free trial promotion . I don't check my bill till 13 months later .

yes and it is everyone's responsibility to do their own research to understand and clear up the grey and unclear areas of any promotions, and not to go blindly into signing up

the problem is that the sender used DHL. It is true that DHL charge the volume of the parcel, and not by the weight. If it is sent by local post office, it will be charged by the weight.

when I got them to explain how s the charger works on the chat and by e mail before my purchases they avoid to mention the volumetric. they only explain is charge by weight .

So I don't get they dare to claims The feature of their service is that customers can experience lower international shipping costs . which is much cheaper if I would get the site to send me directly .

Anyway I learn my lesson . and Lucky that I got the promotion for first 600 customers $ 25 off .so is not too bad .

you can always make a call to DHL to ask them for a quote for your similar size of package. And you could counter-check what would the shipping cost.


Also, probably, it was a gimmick that you got a $25 off....and they charged you at a higer shipping cost instead.

I got a cheaper quote from DHL and I still waiting for them to response to my e mail which I sent 5 day s ago .
