Hi There
I wish my kids to watch Mandarin speaking cartoons. There seems to be no proper TV Guide with programme description in English besides the Sunday SCMP weekly one. If there is one, pls ;et me know.
So my question is:
Which Mandarin speaking programme/TV channel/Time do you recommend for kids below 8 yrs old or even adults to help practice listening to Puthongua?

PS: We currently have basic 4 TV Channels and i think NOW but are not really watching TV yet

Why not purchase some cheap chinese (mandarin) VCD's instead? Sure the pic quality is bad, but at least you get to choose what they watch and when. Or you can go for better quality DVD's. There are tons of chinese cartoons, whether western type with mandarin language, or the ones locally from china.
