I am thinking about moving to Hong Kong in February. I am a Secondary Mathematics teacher, currently teaching in NSW.
I would like some advice on where to start - looking for work, registering, possible casual employment, visa, etc
and what exactly does NET stand for?
thanks,

Hi
I teach Maths here. You won't be able to get casual employment. Even our supply teachers are contracted as you cannot work here without a visa.
NET teachers are Native English speakers and work in local schools, as far as I know you will need a visa too. I work for ESF (International) who work you hard but you're paid well for it. Check it out...jobs go in TES about Jan.
Good luck
