You can graduate him if you want. Our girls graduated around 12-15 months to a blanket. This is still thrown off at times but doesn't matter that much.

axptguy - grobag duvet is a "special" set of bedlinen and duvet which basically clips onto each other - ie duvet cover has buttons on the sides and clips onto the sheet so it is sort of an envelope and kids cant kick it off.

Honeypie - i thought about for my 2 year olds and decided agaisnt it (got normal duvet instead and they are still in grobags as well) - the reason being i just imagined them slipping down the bed (which they do) under the duvet and freaking out if they wake up and duver is over their heads....

Hi Idsllvn,

My concern is i will change his bed to a toddler or single bed, if he is still in grobag, he might fall if he tries to get down and walk out, he can't walk with grobag on. So i was thinking of changing him to duvet, though we love grobags a lot, nothing to be worried about it.

I see. Thanks.

Idsllvn, the grobag first duvet has a zip that goes down only 1/3 of the bed, so there's plenty of room for the little one to "wriggle" out. There's no risk of suffocation. The pillow is also attached/sewn onto the sheet "lengthways" so they can't get their heads stuck under either. I carry them at my furniture store so I know. If anyone wants more details, pls feel free to PM me.
