Hi all,
Can anyone recommend someone to put some grills on our windows? The grills are to prevent our kids opening the windows up and falling out.

We put washers and pop rivets to prevent the window from opening too far. So now our windows only open a small amount (enough to let in a nice breeze, but not enough to to let even the smallest child squeeze out), so my child can't fall out. It's cheap and it's not covered by an ugly grill.

Solomani, I suggest that if you live in a complex you ask your management for some advice as they may know some local business that can help you. Otherwise if you have landlord they should be able to help.

It's really simple, you can't see anything as it's placed at the corner of the window where the hinge is. We just had the maintenace guy come and put it in (we didn't have the tools when we first moved in, otherwise my husband would have done it himself).
