Goats Milk - how to mix it up?

We are thinking of trying Karihome Goat's Milk for our 22 month old, but are a bit confused how to mix it up - we have never used formula before.

The package says to use lukewarm water - is it okay to use cooled boiled water? And if the water is cool, will that not kill any germs, etc., and is that really needed?

Finally what kind of water do we use - just boiled cooled tap water, boiled bottled water, etc.?

Thanks so much.

I use Karihome Goat Milk formula for my baby and it's great, our baby is thriving on it.

I assume at nearly 2 years old you are no longer sterialising or boiling water? The only reason they say "cool boiled water" is for the sterialisation aspect of a baby.

I will use what my baby has: as per the directions on the tin, I fill a bottle up to 180 and put in 6 scoops of formula, give it a shake and there you go.

As for the water, you can use bottled water or tap water, whatever your child is drinking, just fill the bottle and put in the scoops for your age/weight range and give it a shake.

I'm not 100% sure for the follow on for your child's age, but it's 1 scoop for every 30ml.

Cooled boiled tap water is recommended to mix infant formula. However, children over one year of age do not require formula but need a well balanced varied diet and full fat cow's milk to drink.
