Buying a camera lens

I am looking to buy a new lens for my Pentax K10 camera and would like to get some advice on the best place to go.


I am not just looking for the place with the cheapest prices (although reasonably priced would be good), it is more a shop that gives good honest advice to find the best lens for what I want to photograph that I am looking for.


I imagine Stanley Street is a good place to go but does anyone have any specific recommendations?

The shop near HSBC on Lyndhurst Terrace have always been good to me.

The camera shop on the 3rd floor of the link between Ocean terminal and Harbour city, seem to offer good service and reasonable knowledge.
