Hi, I have just bought a blackberry from the UK and plugged the Sim card into the blackberry. There is an error screen 543. Anyone has any ideas whats happened? I was told I can't use other countries's blackberry with HK Sim card. Is that true?

The Blackberry device needs to be unlocked. Sounds to me like it's locked to whichever UK company, such as Vodafone, you got it from.

I'm glad to hear that. As Smartone in HK told me I can use overseas' blackberry in HK! Any shops you would recommend me to visit to get it sorted?
