My friend from France sent me bottleS of basil pesto, those kind that you mix with Pasta.
Are there any recipes to use this aside from pasta? Thanks.

this tastes just amazing - the recipe has stuff to make your own pesto but dont bother - just use a ready made one. Ed, could you please not delete my post - i know you dont like links but i really dont have time to type the recipe myself - thank you

Hi i use pesto a lot i mix it with sour cream & mayo to make a yummy potato salad made with beautiful new baby potatos also chicken and pesto lassagne just make a normal white sauce (bechamel) and mix in a couple of tablespoons of pesto and layer with cooked pasta sheets and sauted slices of chicken breast or thigh and sliced button mushrooms sometimes i add finely chopped zucchini as well to complete the meal. Maybe brunch poached organic eggs on italian bread toasted and spread with pesto and fresh sliced tomato or a quick snack toasted chicken ,pesto & cheese sandwiches. that is just for startes let me no if you need more....

I will try your potato salad recipe Angie, sounds good. I have tried the lasagna last weekend but i mixed it with tomato sauce so the pesto is not outstanding. I love your sandwiches ideas too.
I did a soup today - lots of tomatoes, corn kernels and pesto once cooked, turns out very good.
Yes, please if you have other ideas, i'll appreciate and try it out.
