I really disliked the Cotai ferry as it made me so nauseous. It's not so smooth, like the Turbojets. On Cotai ferry, I was so sick by the time we arrived in Macau, I was still feeling blah three hours later while watching Cirque. If you go on Cotai, sit near the back to avoid this. You buy the ticket at the ferry terminal or go to the Venetian website to look for discounts.

Additionally, there are many other travel agents in the same building as the Macau ferry terminal and they might also have discounted tix for the Cotai jet (they have them for Turbojets).
FYI, the ferry schedule of the Cotai jet are not as frequent as Turbojet's (every 15mins.), hence not as flexible. Plus, unless you're going to the Venetian, there's really nothing to see at the Cotai strip yet since everything's still under construction.
