Curtains

Hi All,


I desperately need curtains made, but i need a recommendation for really good quality and service. There are so many shops about, and i cant tell if they are any good.


Also happy to goto Shenzhen.

There is a very good curtain man in Shenzhen on the 3rd floor. Can't remember the number but his name is Kevin and his shop is at the back of the third floor where you will find a lot of the massage places.


If you place yourself at the centre lift, 3rd floor, put the lift door behind you and walk straight in front to the back wall. Turn left and keep walking until you see a shop with loads of cushions displayed at the doorway.


Kevin is great, speaks very good English, has hundreds of samples and his work is good.

If ya don't feel like going to Shenzhen, but are perhaps willing to go to Sai Kung for example - there's a great shop called Ka Ying Curtain Craft, ask for Virginia. Her English is 85% but she's brilliant and so is her follow up. T: 27914796

I finally bought "made to measure" curtains for the first time for 3 small arched windows, 1 pole, and 1 ten foot long patio pole and Viriginia was so helpful. I normally would have gone for ready mades from Ikea, B&Q or the other one at Megabox.


Go in knowing what you want, if not in words, at least from a picture. Dont be afraid to use some of the more decent and inexpensive materials manufactured in China. The fancy European/American stuff tends to run out of stock.
