As I am quite new to Hong Kong and a friend of mine will visit me in January '09 for 12 days, I don't really know what to do every day. Sigthseeing of course, but what else? I already considered Shenzhen and Macao...
Do you know how the weather will be like? Can one go to the beach or will it be too windy / cold?
Where could we go to have some fun? Also in Hong Kong? Any leasure/recreation offers? Paintballing, Bowling or the like.
Which are the best locations if you like more the electronic/house music clubs? (We are both 20)

For good electronic music such as techno and trance I would suggest the clubs on Kowloon side such as Club PP, Hot, Cyber, and 348. These are the places where you'll get a true clubbing experience with a largely local crowd. For a more international experience head over to HK side and hit up Drop for the best in house. They play mostly funky house, deep house, and electro house. Try also Volar, Dragon-i, Kee Club, and sometimes M1NT. For a good afterwards club with a random crowd, go to the newly renovated homebase.
