Drooping jowls treatment

It's starting to happen and I'd like to firm them up a bit - and my chins - without taking out a new mortgage or going under the knife, if that's possible. Do any of these treatments touted by the beauty salons in HK actually work, albeit temporarily? I'd be interested to hear from women who have noticed a difference after trying out the current tightening procedures I've seen in glossy brochures as to be honest I'm skeptical about the amazing results the salons boast of. Are there real people out there who can give me the heads up on their experiences, as opposed to young, slender already-perfect models' testimonials or salon staff masquerading as satisfied customers!?
