Hey there fellow Hong Kongers,
I am looking for some contacts who can tell me about Movie Location Charges.
I've been asked to rent out my flat (and roof) for a local commercial crime movie production and have no idea what is reasonable to ask for in this part of the world. Production seems to be of sizable budget, 30+ actors, directors have received international acclaim for previous work.
Also, if someone has experience as to what reputation local companies have and how muach damage they may leave / have left in your house or restaurant would be helpful.

Hi tadellos, I'm afraid I cannot answer your questions exactly but like you I am hoping for some replies from other AsiaXpat users who may know more!
We live in Clear Water Bay and have just been asked to rent out our house for one day (mostly outside, actually) to shoot a tv commercial. They would offer HK$ 1500 per hour. I am tempted but have no idea about the mess or damages they would leave behind ... does anyone else have any experience with film crews in their house??
