Stanley Stationery Shop

ORIGINAL POST

Hi, Does anybody know what happened to the stationery/everything shop that used to be below the escalators in Stanley plaza. They shut down some time ago, but from memory said they were going to reopen in Stanley proper - has anyone seen them?

Yes they have reopened.

They are in a back street off the market, near where Pepperoni's used to be (and also where the tree fell down in that unfortunate event a couple of months ago).

The easiest way to find them is to walk down to the market past Delifrance, turn left and walk along nearly to the end until you reach the shop that sells the rugby shirts. Turn left there and left at the top and you will find Ka Ho Stationary on the right.

The new shop is quite small and cramped but they seem to have crammed in pretty much everything they had before when they were in the Plaza. The lady in there said that they were hoping to rent the shop opposite as well, so they may have spread across two shops by the time you go - I haven't been since the day before Halloween.

Incidentally there is also a well stocked secondhand bookshop called The Chapter House just round the corner - well worth a visit if you haven't been before.
