termination of contract

im working for 2 yrs and 3 month on a design company ! then yesterday HR told me that they will cut my contract (terminate) and they want me to leave soon and i can only get this month salary !! in legal they should give me a one month notice and they should pay 2 month severance ! is this right?? and what shoild i do ? should i inquire in the labor office? any help would be appreciated

First stop is to READ your contract...what does it say about termination and severance pay; IF you have a verbal contract and are paid monthly you are entitled to a minimum of 1 month salary or one month work out notice.



The Labour Department is an economic option to consider for further information.
