Hi there,
Can any suggest a removal company for London - Hong Kong? I only have boxes with clothes, shoes, books, no furniture. I've done online quotes and they all seem about the same, so would be very helpful to have some positive or negative suggestions.
Thanks,
Urz

leave most of it behind, you probably dont need it and if you do its cheaper to replace it here than the price of shipping. I cant tell you how many times i and friends have moved, put our stuff in boxes that stayed there for years untouched.
Bring what you need in a suitcase and if you really want something you had to leave ask somebody to bring it our when they come of bring it back if you go for a visit

Try Seven Seas - efficient and reasonable price. Check them out on the search engine.

powderhound - you mean leave behind all my lovely (and expensive) shoes? the persian carpet i bought in iran (again expensive)? my natural wool underlay and goose feather doona? :)
I'm Australian so better to bring everything with me (will throw as much as possible though!) rather than leave little deposits around the world hoping to return one day to collect them....

try Round the World Logistics. Very good and reasonably priced.

Try the post office, we had packed up most of the whole of our display booth at Cebit a few years back and sent it here via the German post and that worked out fine and it was quite reasonably priced

I went with Seven Seas in the end. My 5 boxes arrived safely today. Their administration was a little random sometimes (eg, invoicing multiple times!) but they were well organised overall, not too expensive, and everything arrived fine. I would use them again.

It was only about 6 weeks to ship them. They were collected in London in early Jan, then I had them put in storage for 4 weeks while I sorted myself out here, then ordered the shipping at the end of Feb. Yep, definitely need a humidifier!
