Pls Recommend names of White Wines for Chinese Banquet

of course it does - price came down on alcohol full stop. I would call medium price ranger in the area of $150-170. With the whites, you cant go wrong with New Zealand Sauvignon blanc - tho it is dry. In my mind dry goes better with chinese food anyway... Cant really help with with non dry wine, dont really like it myself... unless you want something sweet, just because you dont like the taste of dry - in that case go for the dessert wines - most wine shops will have a separate section for those...

Also - you can go to a decent wine shop - Watson's wine will do - and ask them giving your specifications - they will be able to help

For specific name.. try Dr.Loosen, German Reisling. Under $200 a bottle. Very sweet white, very easy to drink. I've seen it at Watson's Wines.
