Totally agree with Greenvalleys. Threadcount isnt the only factor that counts. I was fooled by it once. Tried 1000 and 400. To be honest, definitely 1000 is heavier in a way but for the feel they are almost the same. BUT again, it is a very personal liking. In fact, someone long ago suggested SLEEPNAKED before. I did some enquiries and found that their products are made in northern part of China. It is nothing wrong with it, of course. But was disappointed because I thought they were made in the UK.

Dadde - if you re-read my initial post on this, it clearly states that this is a new advertiser... we do not own nor have any interest in this company beyond the fact that they advertise with us - and that I think the name is very creative...

Dadda, you seems offensive. Take it easy. Look at the lighter side. Whether you are right or wrong, I do not see any issue here.
Be it made in China or any part of the world, if the product is good, then is good. Not all products made in China are bad, just that it happened that you have which made in China are bad. It boils down to how much you paid for the product. If you pay peanuts, you will get peanuts.

Also note that this brand does not have fitted sheets. They make their sheet longer and wider to give ample fabric to tuck under the mattress. Shame as fitted sheets make the bed much tidier.

The website says the linen is used in numerous 5-star hotels and resorts. i can find the names of only 4 on the website. What are the other hotels/resorts? And are these hotels/resorts using SleepNaked exclusively?

Why do you need a hotel feel at home?
I did rather like to feel cosily at home, at home, than feel like I am sleeping in a hotel! A reasonably good quality sheet, soothing or bright colors as per the mood, and it is enough!

I think the point is not that you want to feel like you are sleeping in a hotel but that you can get the same quality bedding that is used in top hotels (assuming that top hotels you the very best bedding) at a fantastic price.

When was the last time you saw Ed trying to surreptitiously plug his advertisers? Its not his style. He does plug advertisers but there is usually always full disclosure.
Besides the site is a portal, it makes money from display advertising, advertisers are concerned with eyeballs metrics etc., its not an affiliate site as far as I am aware so I don't think Ed gets paid on click throughs or sales generated from traffic that has come from this site. They look at his media pack and decide whether they are prepared to pay for the ad that Ed charges based on his own traffic.
Point being made is he has got no reason to plug one particular advertiser over another, as I understand it and the business model (which I may have wrong), there is no economic benefit from doing it, if there was, he would be doing it all day. Its not that kind of site.

We have thousands of advertisers on this site - if I have a positive experience with one of them - or if I have a positive experience with a company that is not an advertiser - I may promote them on the forums.
If I have had no experience with an advertisers product or have no knowledge of them I will not plug them (although I may link to them if someone is requesting a service or product that one of our advertisers provide).
If I have had a negative experience with any company (advertiser or not) I will say nothing (although it is certainly tempting to post the negative experience on our home page in order to get their attention...)

There is only one person who has said they are ordering other than ed, and that person doesnt seem to be a regular, everyone else has either said its made in China is not fitted or expressed some other reason why they aren't interested or has asked everyone else to let them know how the order went. May have to PM the guy who said he ordered if you prefer someone other than ed's view.
Personally I am a heathen, as long as my sheets are clean I'm not too bothered what the thread count is or whether they come from China Products.

Someone told me the secret of hotel sheets was the fact everything is ironed. That's never going to happen in our household...! Now if I had a maid, things might be different. That said, I did once experience posh Frette sheets in a hotel in Turks and Caicos and they were very nice. The sheets at the Sheraton Grand Sukhumvit in BKK are also very nice. How about a best hotel for sheets thread...only kidding - I'm bored at work.

I recently bought some sheets from Sleep Naked... having just come back from vacation after sleeping on a Westin's "Heavenly Bed" and having ordered a new Simmons Custom Royal (apparently the same specs as the heavenly bed), we were looking to recreate the same hotel feel with top quality sheets.
I have to say, we are very happy with our purchase. Sheets feel very silky and cool. Prices also seem reasonable, in line with the quality provided. (In fact, I just went back with a reorder.) We also found their customer service to be quite good - very responsive and friendly.

Really? Fitted sheets ARE available from Sleep Naked. At least that's what I've ordered from them. In fact, it's one of the best things about their product - their sheets have a deeper 32 cm drop so it fits over the thicker mattresses.
What may be a problem is their lack of product range. They only have 3 basic styles (all in white) and sell them mainly in bedsets (duvet, 4 pillow cases, and a fitted OR flat sheet - your choice) - although you can also order these separately (for instance I tagged on a few extra fitted sheets in addition to ordering one bedset).

The idea is the sheeting is softer than any bed clothes you might wear so you might aswell sleep naked. It's also a catchy name for a bed linen website we thought.

After looking in all the obvious places I found it almost impossible to find a UK king size duvet here in HK.
Then I saw the sleep naked ad on this site I was delighted to see that they have them and I recently placed an order.
I took delivery within a week and it was the perfect size to fit all my UK king size duvet covers hoorah!
Very pleased with the quality and would happily order from them again.

HelloKittyHK : a Queen Bed is 152cm Wide. It's a U.S. Size. It's the same size as a UK King. Our sizes are all UK. Our Super King is a U.S. Emporer Size.
