Go to the local dispensaries. My helper goes to the dispensary at Mong Kok for our nappies and formula and saves a bundle. If you buy at the speciality baby shops or supermarkets you pay nearly twice the price.

Our baby has goat milk formula and to buy from Taste will cost $290, but we now pay just $240 from a dispensary. It may not seem like much but when you consider how much formula you go through, it's worth it.

We use Huggies nappies. We have tried Pampers, but 99% of the time, it leaks. I don't like them at all and they feel to plasticky if that makes sense. I still with the Huggies, worth it when it comes to not having to worry about changing sheets after every sleep.

we've been using Pet Pet diapers exclusively for the past 8 months of our 10month old girls life, and they are great...half the price of Pampers/Huggies, absolutely no leaks ever, (Huggies/Pampers leaked for us in the first months) but you'll have to search for them in the local dispensaries and not all have them...

hospitals here use Similac/Gain (from Abbott, not Chinese made) so we do too...again from the local dispensaries is cheaper than supermarkets..same goes for baby wipes

We used Fitti nappies for our last 2, much cheaper than Pampers etc, and never once had a problem with leaking, even at night. Agree the local dispensarys are much cheaper, for medicines, cleaning products, vitamins etc as well as baby stuff.

You might also consider washable diapers as good quality and economical solutions. I saw some 2nd hand washable nappies sets on sale on this website. I have also been told local pharmacies are much cheaper than drugstores or supermarkets for formula milk, and will certainly try that for my 3rd one.

They are original but some are parallel imports. And the running cost of these local dispensary are much lower than at the supermarket and they can afford to offer them at cheaper prices. If unsure, go to your supermarket and check to see where it is made and then check at the dispensary.

some products in dispensaries are not original. u'll just have to choose which one to shop from. i usually choose the bigger ones over the small ones just off the street. though it's hard to know whether they are selling originals or not.

so i buy formula from the supermarket and diapers and other stuff that my baby will nto be injesting, i buy from the dispensary.

For diaper, I would go for the cloth diapers as it is much more economical. For formula milk, don't know what your baby is drinking. My baby's drinking organic formula milk and the shop offer bulk discount which is much cheaper than Taste, etc. So, if you need the info, just let me know
