Curious to hear of others experience with Cathay's booking and fare system.
We began online as usual in October and had the outbound flight confirmed but not the return -- status -- waitlisted. Est. cost around HKD 7,175 adult economy.
By the time we finally had the return flight confirmed near the last date before payment was due, the price went to HKD 13,590. How did this happen?
Also, anybody try to use Asiamiles points redemption bookings over christmas? Only to get one outbound flight but not the return?
