Can anyone recommend a trustworthy ortho. surgeon in HK that can perform Birmingham Hip Resurfacing? Preferably someone that is not aggressive and will look at alternatives to surgery as well. I want to get an honest opinion before I decide wheter to have surgery or not.

For what it is worth, I had a hip replacement done a few years ago (in Australia). I went to a surgeon who was highly recommended by a friend who is also my GP. He turned out to be a good choice, did a great job, all the nurses in the hospital that I went to said that he was the best around, etc etc.
When I first went to see him, I asked him about the Birmingham procedure. He told me that, had I come a year earlier, he might well have recommended it for me. But he had had several failures in the last few months, using the procedure, and now he would not use it again.
I recommend that you do some talking to GPs, maybe visit a couple of the good hospitals, Adventist etc, and just ask the receptionists which surgeons are good, and which techniques they use.
My other hip was pretty worn, and after I had finished rehab etc the last thing the surgeon said to me was "I'll see you soon to do the other one ho, ho" However, I started taking glucosamine and chondroitin, and so far, touch wood, not even the slightest twinge - and that is about 5 years ago.
I also do a lot of exercise, walking, indoor bike, lots of swimming, and some weights - and I am convinced that this helps my situation as well.
Hope this helps.
By the way, all surgeons will recommend that you have surgery.
