Hi All-
Have a nice leather jacket that has been brutalized by the climate here over the last 8 years- Stiff, dry, just not supple and beautiful as it once was.
Any suggestions for a DIY treatment, or, better yet, a shop (hopefully in the Central area) that can make my jacket- And by extension me- happy again?

Saddle soap!
If you can revive saddles with saddle soap like I have, then you can revive leather jackets, too! Won't be as good as new, but that's the best way to keep leather supple and clean. Even if you don't wear it, you should saddle-soap it often.
Of course, if it's completely cracked, nothing much you can do, I'm afraid.
Sorry, I don't know where to find saddle soap, maybe call one of the riding schools in HK and ask?
