Mattress for baby

Has anybody bought the natural mattress that sold in Mother Organic at Central?


They seem to have a very nice and firm mattress there, and they are organic and natural ! But to me, it seems a bit expensive, so I want to know the user's opinion. thank you.

I have seen Mother Organic's mattress, it is called Naturalmat from UK. I have actually bought this brand of mattress to my newborn when I stayed in UK two years ago. The mattress is handmade in UK and natural & organic. They are the first company in UK that does not need to use any chemical on the mattress to meet the fire retardant regulation. I think it is a peace of mind that I can know my daughter sleeps on a non-toxice and natural mattress that would not affect her health.


For me, I think mattress is the most important investment in a baby's life because they spend so much time on it. Some people spend a lot of money on clothing, or cot. But I think this is not as important. Clothing is just for appearance and cot is just for support of the mattress. The most important for me is my baby's health. So, I was willing to spend money on the mattress. Besides, if you use the mattress for few years and divide the cost of mattress into daily expense, it is really not that expensive.

Hello mc, I took your advice and eventually bought Mother Organic's mattress for my baby last month. They were doing a 10% off last month, so it is even cheaper than I thought !


I really like the mattress and it seems very supportive. I bought a large one so that my baby can sleep till 4-5 years old. The best thing is that I know my baby is sleeping on a natural and organic mattress that won't do any harm to him. Thank you.


By the way, like you said, I cut down budget on other items. I now use cotton diapers instead of disposable diapers to save money for the natural mattress. It is better for the environment too
