I want one and I want it now! ...but I'd like to get it at a reasonable cost...
Has anybody bought one recently and if so, where and how much? I'd like to get a US version rather than Japanese.

I don't know how much it cost at other shops but there is a shop I do most of my wii shopping which sells it for hkd925 (US version). Is that a reasonable price?

This shop is in Sham Sui Po. Basically, when you get out of the MTR station exit D you turn left on that road where there are loads of computer shops. You walk along the street until you get to the junction and then you cross the road. On the left side of the street you will see few shops that sell only "whole sale", the third (I think) you will see on the door a sign that says "directbuyhk", that's the one. very nice and very reliable people. when I am looking for games if they don't have them, they order and send it to my home with a charge of around 20 hkd.

We got one and it's great! Ended up going to 188 Wanchai (aka the Games Centre?) and bought it in Dream on the first floor (though there's also one on the ground level). Much cheaper than Central (a bit over $900 vs $1,500 in Pacific). Games also looked a lot cheaper than Central and lots of choice. I've heard from others that the Sham Shui Po place is good value but it wasn't so convenient for us.
