HK BBQ How To?

Hello,


I recently moved to HK and my apartment block has some of those circular "fire pit style" brick barbecues.


I want to invite colleagues and friends over for a barbeceu, but have no idea what the best way is to use one.


-What do i use to make fire? Wood, charcoal, heat beads/briquettes? Where do i get this stuff?



-What utensils do i need, and again where do i get them.


-What are the best things to cook? Ive seen people doing squid, chicken wings, all sorts of stuff, what are the favourites?


Anything else i need to know about - what do i do with the ashes from the fire, or does the building management deal with this.


Basically, I'm a newbie.


Any instructions/links would be much appreciated.

Thanks. BBQ went well. Had skewers of meat, potatoes and corn wrapped in foil, Chicken wings lamb and prawns. Hardest part was getting the charcoal to light but got there eventually. Heaps of fun.
