I always get flu and hate taking medicine!
Is there any food or drinks to take during flu period or during heavy period to keep strong?

Lots of vitamin C - Oranges, orange juice every day. I believe your body absorbs vitamin C best when you have a little bit of fat along with it. So an orange with my starbucks is generally what i do in the morning.
If you start getting a cold or flu symptoms. An old wives tale is that soup with chicken and corn really helps. I believe it. I like to add all sorts of vegies and noodles to the soup too so that its packed with more vitamins.

We add ginger , black pepper too,to the chicken soup with all the veggies possible ,like you would make a stock
Also ginger lemon black tea helps ,but made with fresh ginger pieces
