40th Birthday Party

Hubby will be turning 40 and i want to make it special BUT we have been slightly 'credit crunched' so money is the issue.


He's not a big party boy but it's his 40th and it should be celebrated so I'm looking for a bar ideally centrally located where i can invite all his friends (and family that are visiting), any suggestions are most welcome.

How about booking one of the private dining rooms around HK? WE did it recently and its a BYO (bring your own booze) which kept the cost down and we had a wonderful time with great food.


I can let you know where I went if you are interested.

same! mine is turning 40 so that is exactly what I am doing. I have also asked everyone to bring a bottle of wine instead of any gifts - so this way I am paying for the food (still not cheap of course) and getting a cake....
