Does anyone know where I can buy a domestic fire alarm in Hong Kong. Quite easy to buy in the UK but not very common here.

I bought mine from B&Q at Megabox at Kowloon Bay for around HKD$200plus
You can get there easily by taking MTR to Kowloon Bay, there are shuttle buses that takes you there. U can make a day out of it, it's a big shopping mall with cinema, ice skating rink, shops, restaurants.

There's a well stocked fire safety store on McGregor Street in Wan Chai. This is a small street off Queen's Road East close to Hopewell Centre. They have everything from simple smoke alarms and up. I'm sure they will be able to help you.
