Does anyone else smell the burning plastic scent in the air today? The Air Pollution Index looks average (moderately bad) for this time of year, but up on the Peak the strong smell of burning plastic is everywhere. Anyone else experience this, or know more about it? It's too strong to just be a local trash pile fire. Is there a plastics factory on fire in the mainland, or something else?

I got to say that it was the first time since I've been in HK that the pollution finally got to me over the last week or so. Looks like another Alen Air Purifier is needed from Renaud! OR time to move!

The air pollution in Hong Kong is quite serious. However, you can still have fresh air at countryside and beaches, such as Sai Kung and the south side of Hong Kong island etc.
