hi
i have an HP officejet5610 and it has a scanning option - it used to scan but for some reason it now says no scanning option and refer to documentation - which i have had alook at and cant find anything useful - anyone have any idea why it shouold suddenly not work?! THANKS!

I think I'd start by deleting the printer from your computer. Then try re-installing the printers drivers from your HP disc or go to HP's website and download the latest drivers from there.
If it still won't find the scanning driver, maybe you have a problem with the hardware and might need to take it back to HP for repair.
You can also call HP Tech support. They are usually very good and will talk you through some suggestions.
