NOW TV For Helpers??

Has anyone got a second TV decoder for their helper?

Mine would like to watch the Phil channel but it seems I can only get it if I pay $221 a month for one channel which seems excessive. (Although I couldn't get much sense out of PCCW).

Has anyone got this for their helpers? How did you do it and how much did it cost?

Thanks for your help.

Thanks

Yes we did it and we had to pay the extra - but we gave our helper alot of channels for the $200odd that we pay. We got so much conflicting info from PCCW and they actually came out 3 times before we finally were told that we needed a decoder. I'm still not sure that it is right, but it might be that our helper's room is a long way from our connection that we needed a decoder for it to work.

We decided against getting a decoder for our helper.

The reason being is that it is very easy to get addicted to some of the shows.

Hence she will be upset if she couldn't watch some of the programs.

We decided to buy her a DVD so that she can watch movies or other Filipino programs purchased at World Wide Plaza on her free time.

Best to avoid conflicts and problems.

I've done the same with my teenager.

No NOW TV, just a DVD and the regular channels.

If they really want to watch some special program, they can view it on our main TV.
