A group of us want to explore to "outer limits" the houseware/household item shopping malls - could someone provide me with direction, website infor.

It's the Permanent Exhibition Centre on Meiyuan Street. Have a look through the threads on this forum for "housewares" and you'll find the address in Chinese. Haven't found any useful information on the web. But beware -- it's bound to shut down in the next couple of days for CNY, if it hasn't already.

The Australian Association is planning a trip soon. They usually hire a coach to take everyone there and back so that you don't have to lug your purchases onto the train to come back. Queen's pier used to be the meeting point on HK Island. I have done it a few times and much easier than making your own way there and back.
