I live in Macau and want to treat my boy and I to a nice night in the big town of Hong Kong for Valentine's Day... thinking of booking Copacabanna for dinner :)
Can anyone please help out to recommend a nice hotel, doesn't need to be big and fancy... but maybe somewhere that is a little different... something that is decorated in the rich asian colours or maybe has an amazing view out the bathroom... anything that has a bit of funk or spunk :) Money's not really an issue... open to all suggestions.

Hi, you might want to try Le Meridien Cyberport and request a corner sea view room. Their rooms are pretty funky and if you request that room, the view will be of the South China Sea and pretty amazing. I know they're more of a "business" hotel, but they're pretty funky. They're not in Central tho, but about a 15 mins cab ride away. Altho they do have a shuttle bus to Central and Wanchai every 20 mins or so.

The "W" Hotel certainly looks funky and you could almost spend a whole weekend there in itself!
