I need the names and clinics of expat veterinary surgeons in Sai Kung please.

Pet Central - the big Red place next to Steamers has expat vets, Mike and sometimes Pauline.
Creature comforts also operate around Sai Kung and they have expat vets too
I cant remember now if SPCA still has an expat vet in Sai Kung too - they used to

Thanks informer. Much appreciated.

Is is possible to always get the same vet or is it potluck which vet? Having the same vet is better because they know the history of your pet. I've just "googled" Pets Central and there's heaps of vets!

SPCA has only expat vets as far as I know. I've seen three different expat vets there. And in any case, don't all vets in HK train overseas?

Dr Mike is usually in Sai Kung, although I assume he has a day off from time to time and I think that you can call and make an appointment (assuming its not an emergency) so that you ensure you get him. I have always made an appointment and always got him.
its a good point about all vets training overseas, I guess the question is where they trained, but I also think that as well as training you need someone who has a good way and care for animals and Dr Mike certainly has that

Pet Central is perfect. I'll ring them tomorrow. My husband can have a beer at Steamers while I take the cat to the vet! lol. Thanks everyone.
