How do I get Hong Kong Sevens tickets when I'm overseas

I'm in Australia and want to get two tickets for Saturday of the Hong Kong Kong sevens. I already have my flights/accomodation, so one of the all-in sports packages isn't an option.


Can anyone tell me how to get a ticket?

Are you talking about 2009 tickets? The allocation of tickets for HK public went on sale 10 days ago and sold out in 2 hours.

Even people in HK are buying all-in-one sports packages to get tickets.


Local rugby clubs are given an allocation that barely covers the members.


Tickets are allocated by HK Rugby. HK public/HK rugby members/corporate boxes/travel companies.


Do you move in circles that usually have private boxes at these events?


If you come without tickets and can't find a tout selling them you can always go to the Rugby 7's village across the road from the stadium and watch the action on the big screen and then get into the post game mischeif in town.

Have a few club contacts here, but nothing which would get me tickets.


Happy to get any other ideas, folks... but otherwise see you in the 7's village.

A friend of mine just booked a great package from the UK which includes tickets to all three days of the rugby. The name of the company is Quintessentially Escape I believe. Have fun at the rugby!
