I am looking to repair my 10 year old mini disc (if anyone even remembers those!) hi fi separate unit. The loading mechanism has gone. It is Sony, but I don't want to pay the $$$ to go back to Sony. Can anyone recommend a simple hi fi repairer? I've seen people who do PCs and mobile phones in Wan Chai and Sham Shui Po, but hi fi units aren't as common. Thank

I used a place in Shatin - a very professional place who repair all makes of hi-fi equipment - minimum charge approx. $400. Look up AVWalkman . com. I previously struggled to find a third party repair place!
