Just thinking about schools in Hong Kong makes my head spin... My son is 2. 8 years now and currently enrolled at Woodlands in Happy Valley. I'd like to have him going mornings for five days a week by about mid-year, when he turns three (and when the term at Woodlands ends).
The ideal would be an English/Mandarin school, but I hear that's hard to come by. We also thought of Lingnan, but our son already has English and Italian at home, as well as Indonesian when our new helper starts next week. I feel like if he has those three languages at home, then throws in Cantonese, then transfers to a school in a couple of years that's Mardarin or English -- well, I'm worried it will be overwhelming.
I know a lot of this depends on which "stream" you want your kid in later. That all seems to confuse me as well, I hate to admit.
Any input would be great! Thanks.
