facials/ eyebrow shaping

I usually go to Ellespa for facials and eyebrows, but heard they are closing. Anyone have ideas for where else I can go before my Bert and Ernie brows take over my face?

1 - maybe you would like to relocate this post in the WOMEN ONLY forum, where you probably would have gotten tons of advice about the best facials in town.


2 - for EYEBROW, i would truly recommand you went to an Indian beauty parlour, where Eyebrow shaping cost only 20 HKD, and whole face (if necessary) should be less than 100 HKD.

Look for Indian beauty parlor in the Women only thread.... I'll update it with my latest favourite salon - FREEDAS - which is in Central (124 Caine Road) and in Tsim Sha Tsui (Burlington Mansion 13F). The job is good and prices are fixed and same for everyone....

They also do facials but i haven't tried


3 - FACIALS: personnaly i go to AST aqua facial in Central, but i guess lots of gals will give you their favourite as well....

What i like about the AST facials is that it's a Japanese owned place (= outstanding level of services, very professional, no hard selling, everything is done for you to really relax & enjoy your time, very polite english-speaking staff, hygiene is outstanding as well, and normal prices) and that the product they use (mainly water or water based) is non allergenic, which is great for my skin.... (pm me if you want more details & reco)

Ellespa reopened as "The Retreat" on Beach road btw. Also rumor hath it that a new spa will open in the Repulse Bay arcade once he dust settles.

I think there is a place on Lyndhurst Terrace called 'Browalicious' or along those lines. It's next door to that lovely pizza parlour Paisanos.
