Thinking of travelling to Shenzhen mid week just for the day. What has the trip into hong kong been like?

we went last fri and coming back was HELL! however - that must be to do with people coming back from CNY (??) - cant imagine that this week would be any different from an normal midweek day - i.e. pretty easy
