I have just had the hard drive die in my apple note book and I am trying to find someone that can retrieve the data on it. The apple store could not help so have to look elsewhere Any help would be greatly apprecited.

did they actually manage to retrieve any data? I have found some data retrieval service that say they can do it but also want to chage me an arm an a leg but no charge if they cannot retrieve anything.
