looking for somewhere to go for easter hols with our 18 month old...ideally a beach holiday, get hut on beach, good food, relaxed...any tips - anyone been to tiomen island with a baby?

We went to Nirwana resort on Bintan Island Indonesia with our son last november when he was 18 months and had a brilliant time. They don't have baby sitting like Club Med but if that's OK with you, go for it. The staff and facilities were great and everyone was so friendly and service minded. You can stay in beach huts as we did or stay in regular hotel style rooms. There was a huge choice in food and activities too.

Anywhere "easy" is good. Rent a villa in Bali or Phuket if you can afford it. Otherwise a "child friendly" resort like Mövenpick in Phuket. Anywhere that is not a lot of work for you.
