transit in Incheon

I will be stuck for 6 hours in transit at the Incheon Airport on Feb 27. Any suggestion for a place to rest within the airport, i need it for another 13 hrs flight to JFK, somewhere safe for a woman?


if I could not find that perfect place to nap, any suggestion on how to consume that 6 hours?


i would appreciate any idea you could share. thank you.

Incheon International Airport currently provides Hub Lounges in two areas, one on the east side and one on the west side, for passengers who are either make a connecting flight or waiting for departure. The lounges first opened in June of 2008, and are situated in the duty free shopping area on the fourth floor.


Until now, airport lounges were only made available to business class passengers and first class passengers. However, the Hub Lounge is now available to anyone for a small fee of 35,000 won. Once admitted, passengers may comfortably take advantage of the hotel-class facilities for as long as they like. Attractive characteristics of the lounge include complimentary sandwiches, coffee, and buffet-style meals along with free refreshments.

In addition, desserts, beer, and hard liquor are also provided free of charge. Internet facilities and shower booths are also offered to all customers free of charge. These facilities are made available with no reservations necessary. Furthermore, newspapers, magazines, and books are made ready for your enjoyment on one side, along with a TV room to watch the news. Currently, there are about 200~300 people who utilize the facilities every day.


At present, Priority Pass and Master Platinum credit cards have been working cooperatively to provide free admission to the Hub Lounge for their customers. The lounges are situated on the fourth floor along with various other convenience facilities including a snack bar, kid’s room, traditional fine arts exhibitions, and much more.

Oh, I was not able to get to the hub lounges, but instead crawled myself on benches at Gate 9, since we arrived as early as 4:55am and next flight would still be by 10:50. It was warm in there and I was able to have a nap with my legs and my back flat on the row of benches.
