Very often, I am told that we can buy stuff online from the US, especially cloths, and get very attractive prices, even when shipping charges are included. I have tried some online shopping sites. There are some problems:
1) I don't know the actual prices in S$.
2) Sometimes shipping charges are unknown when I place the orders.
Do you have any ideas where I can get some good sites to do this kind of shopping from the US in S$?

i've found it to be cheaper to buy locally cause usually, like cara said, shipping is almost the same price as ur purchase. if u've got friends who'll share shipping with you, then it's great.
i've bought from abercrombie, victoria secret, jcpenny, and amazon.

Have you tried Tarazz? This site has the ability to convert US prices to Singapore dollars and includes shipping, so it effectively takes the guesswork out of online shopping. Prices can sometimes be a little more than say vPOST but IMHO is a small premium to pay for the extra convenience. Plus many products are much much cheaper than what you find in retail stores. Take a look at it here: http://www.tarazz.com

Hi, Steve,
Thanks for your advice. I am sorry for my late reply. I was out of town on a 2-week business trip to China.
I have visited the tarazz.com site and tried it. It seems to be very easy to use.
There are lots of products on special offer. I can shop from many popular online stores in the US, such as amazon.com, Nordstrom, Marks & Spencer, etc.
The unique thing about this online store is the fact that all the prices on the US sites are converted into S$, including shipping charges. This is really cool.
Thanks for your advice again.
