where can i get a good brand name slow cooker (whether in HK or order on line elsewhere) and can anyone recommend a good recipe book?
just want simple nutritious recipes which are good for families.
i'm just learning to cook and if anyone can recommend a cooking school in HK that would be appreciative. i've tried CitySuper classes and they are great but just too fast and the dishes are a bit too extravagant for home cooking for me (as a beginner too).
I'm a bit frustrated that I cant cook for me family! Especially thinking up of what to cook frustrates me.

I don't know about the slow cooker, but for easy, yummy recipes for the family, try www.jamieoliver.com...his recipes are always easy and turns out great. Otherwise, there are plenty of online sites to get recipes from, like www.cuisine.com.au and www.epicurious.com

Hong Kong Electric in North Point has few classes taught in English. Classes are taught in daytime tho. Just tried out Pakistani recipe on family tonight with mixed results, but I get mixed opinions on hamburger night also!
