I have not seen a compact silk duvet but Yue Hwa Chinese Products Emporium, 301 Nathan Rd. tel. 3511-2222 does sell the traditional silk-thread filled duvets.

cant help i am afraid but they do exist, my father-in-law bought one on his travels in China - he bought it directly from a silk factory - one of those places they drop you off if you are on an organised tour (not that you ever ask for it). Anyway - looked pretty compact - i would suggest doing a search on silk products from china or silk factories?
