What are my legal rights

i have recently been taken to court by my wife because i refuse to suck up to her parents who are rich and ;lack education, we have two kids, i want to know if we eventually devorce will the court devide the kids among us, me and my wife are still inlove but i fear that from the court case day i might reduce my feelings for her and wouldn't be so fair in our relationship again, now she is regreting her actions, what would be the best thing for me to do right now, i don't want my kids to be seperated

The best and simplest thing you can do right now is to talk to your wife, which might make her withdraw her legal action. Usuall the court will devide the kids in divorce cases if the kids are not too young(then they may need mother's care more than dad's), and there's no big disparity between parents' conditions.

she doesn't want to withdraw the case because she thinks i will use it to scold in future 'that she took me to court and later canceled, i was told that if i don't agree for a devroce the court cannot devroce us, how true is that, my wife knows that the bad result of our seperation will be felt by the children, my kids, one is 3 and the other is almost 6. her family now claim she did it out of anger and will not cancel due to saving face., i still love her and she does too but since it has gotten to this level, we just have to head to court, i got a lawyer who will only fight for me not to devorce or get possession of my son. but following ur advice it seems you have great experince in this, can you give me an advice on what to do . thanks attorney sun. i hope i can get ur contact details to talk to you directly and ask you, mine is 086-13406930059
