Thomas Crampton has a very interesting article on his blog this month - we'll continue to push forward with making the site better (particularly with recoding so that we can deal with all this extra traffic going forward)

Caught us a bit off guard - the heavy increase caused some site slowdowns - our master webmachinists were able to make some short term fixes that are getting us over the hump - we have put extra machinists on our site code revamp so we can accelerate the relaunch. Anticipate this in about 3 - 4 months. It's a total overhaul so it will be very exciting.
If you would like to contribute to the Help Make AsiaXPAT Better Fund feel free to post a Direct Owner property on the site and pay the small fee (even if you dont actually have a property for lease/sale) or sign up for a Personals membership.
Every little bit counts eh.

Our servers are in Asianetcom in HK. Surprisingly bandwidth came down dramatically in HK a few years ago and was far cheaper than SG so we shifted everything.
